retirement & guardian home program
While our dams love motherhood, we only allow a limited number of litters. If a family desires an older, spayed female, this is a great option. Our retired moms are house broken, very well socialized, and loving companions that would make a great addition to any family. We love to see our retired moms live out their best years as the spotlight, rather than sharing time with many others when they remain with us through retirement. Periodically, we have availability in our guardian home program. This program eliminates the initial cost of one of our doodles while maintaining co-ownership with us to produce a limited number of litters. Once the dam or sire has fulfilled the terms of his or her contract, the guardian obtains full ownership. Financial compensation is awarded to the guardian with each litter. If a family desires one of our doodles without the initial cost, would benefit from a periodic ‘“bonus” for being a guardian, and desires a few weeks a year of free pet boarding, this is a perfect option for you! About Us
“We’re the Millers! We live in a quiet rural corner of the Midwest, about 8 hours from Chicago. Surrounded by rolling fields and wide-open prairie, we love slipping away to the woods or the water whenever we can. That usually means Sunday hikes or family trips—always planned around our puppies, of course. We love being outside, exploring anything old or historical, reading good books, and caring for all kinds of animals, with dogs at the very top. When we’re not doing puppy school or improving our kennel, we’re homeschooling our kids and tending to our orchard, garden, berry bushes, and our 150+ year-old home. It’s a full life, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
We do specific testing on our breeding dogs to ensure they are fit to be bred, resulting in a healthy new addition to your family.
